General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
for the services of Dr. Sam – Hijama & Cupping Therapy
1. Scope
These Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts concluded between Dr. Sam (hereinafter "Provider") and the customer for the provision of cupping treatments (Hijama) and supplementary consulting services. By making an appointment (online, by phone, or in writing), the customer accepts these terms and conditions.
2. Description of services
The treatments offered include classic cupping methods (dry and wet), as well as supplementary lifestyle and nutritional recommendations upon request. This is a naturopathic, complementary procedure—not a conventional medical treatment. No promise of healing is made.
3. Appointment scheduling and cancellation
Appointments are made by arrangement only.
Cancellation free of charge is possible up to 24 hours before the appointment.
In case of later cancellation, a cancellation fee of 50% of the treatment price will be charged.
In case of no-show without cancellation, the full price will be charged.
If you arrive late, the treatment may be shortened or charged as missed.
4. Terms of payment
Payment can be made by bank transfer, cash, or in advance via the respective online booking system. The exact prices and services are available before booking.
5. Exclusion of emergency medical care
The provider does not provide emergency or acute care. Treatment is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or therapy. If you experience any symptoms, we recommend consulting an inpatient or outpatient physician.
6. Disclaimer
Treatment is undertaken at the client's own risk. The provider is not liable for health impairments unless these are due to gross negligence or intent. Liability for damages caused by incorrect information provided by the client (e.g., regarding medications, illnesses) is excluded.
7. Data protection
Personal data will be treated with strict confidentiality in accordance with applicable data protection laws and stored solely for the purpose of treatment and appointment management. It will not be shared with third parties without your express consent.
8. Place of jurisdiction & final provisions
German law applies. The place of jurisdiction is the provider's place of residence, to the extent permitted by law. Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
